How I Am Reaching My Optimal Strength in 2025 May Surprise You
Working with clients on their physical health is truly a privilege. Every day, I get to help others unlock their potential, and it’s a role I cherish deeply.
But here’s something you might not know about me: I record a LOT of workouts and lead a LOT of workouts in person. And, shocker... I am not 21 anymore.
I want to share something personal today — a game changer for my health and strength in 2025 — and it’s something I highly recommend for you, too.
Here’s a little story. A few months ago, I was walking down the stairs in high heels. Nothing dramatic happened at the moment, but by the next morning, my knee was swollen. Within 48 hours, I developed pain and couldn’t squat below 90 degrees. That’s when I knew I needed help.
I’d been looking for a good physical therapist for a while, so it felt like pure serendipity when the waitlist for Michael Voltz opened up. I scheduled an appointment ASAP. Over the next six weeks, Mike helped me heal my knee and regain full mobility.
But the real revelation was this: I realized I couldn’t wait for injuries to happen. I needed to proactively address my weak spots to build resilience and strength.
This year, I’ve committed to working on my hip, knee, scapula, and shoulder strength with Mike. At just eight weeks into this journey, I can already see a remarkable improvement in my overall strength. Best of all, I’m completely pain-free.
So here’s my recommendation for you: go get a physical therapy evaluation. You are worth it. A skilled PT can analyze your movement patterns, identify weaknesses, and help you address them before they turn into injuries.
If you’re in the areas surrounding Philadelphia, I can’t recommend Mike Voltz enough. His expertise is unmatched. With nearly two decades of experience as a physical therapist and athletic trainer, Mike has worked with everyone from first-round MLB draft picks to National Champions, World Champions, and Olympic Medalists. His holistic approach focuses on the person as a whole — not just the painful area — to eliminate pain, improve biomechanics, and optimize performance.
In addition to his hands-on work, Mike is also an instructor with Evidence In Motion, teaching Functional Dry Needling techniques to other licensed physical therapists across the country. He’s a Certified Arm Care Specialist and Biomechanist, bringing an incredible depth of knowledge to every patient he works with.
If you’re ready to take your strength and mobility to the next level, schedule an evaluation with Mike. You can check out his website HERE.
Have a great week!!
